Functional Patterns training is not a short term enterprise. As such, it's critical to assess our compatibility. That is more a function of your thinking and motivation to get better, than it is of the severity of your illness. After our consultation, I'll have a good understanding of how to approach your unique goals. Our bodies adapt to our movements. Even when we move in a disordered way. These adaptations are what lead to discomfort, malfunction, and surgery, steroids or medication. For this reason, the gait cycle and posture serves as my main instrument of diagnosis and evaluation. Your earlier pictures will serve as an excellent benchmark for all of your future developments.
2. The First 12 Sessions
You will learn new motions and methods throughout the course of your first 12 sessions, which will probably feel utterly strange to you. Ratios, coordination, and tension in the muscles will all receive a lot of attention.
Every action you take will be precisely cued, which means that you will be moving slowly through the motions as I describe the precise modifications I want you to make at various points in each action. To activate the right muscles and maintain the greatest symmetry and safety possible, these movements include tilting, shifting, and rotating.
3. After the First 12 Sessions
You will have a solid understanding of the concepts and an enhanced mind-body connection. You'll have a diverse set of techniques and exercises in your recorded library. You'll experience more connection within your body, which will improve your coordination and confidence throughout exercises and regular activities. You'll also be much better at responding to cues and comprehending the phrases used to describe how your body moves in space. Momentum will start to build, and everything will be coming together. Changes in your health, posture, movement, and pain will start to become apparent.
Functional Patterns and I are all about results. From the minute you start your first session, I know that it is only a matter of time before you achieve an incredible result.
I don't only adjust posture to relieve persistent discomfort. If you put in the effort, you may expect to notice changes in your physique, thinking, stress-management, myofascial connections, and much more.
